"With such a short shot at a fic, it would naturally be hard to get across anything too endearing into the emotional scale. But seemingly not for you.
Yet again, you've impressed and shocked me, and made me 200x more envious of you than before.

In the nine lines of that fic, you practically laid out the whole meaning of what is Style. Sure, Style is an abused pairing, and there is only so often you can reel them around with the same storyline. Stan is with Wendy, Kyle is jealous, etc. But most put the story across like it is Kyle in the bad, and Stan doesn't want to be with her.

I really love how you shook that up a bit, making Stan want to be with Wendy and just being the simple jock he is. You really make a reader imagine the story, imagine Kyle comforting Stan when Wendy makes him upset. But the fact that Stan really does love Wendy, and has no idea Kyle feels this way is what makes your nine lines seem to say everythng they possibly could.

You can tell, without even knowing the South Park fandom, that Stan and Kyle are best friends, and Kyle cares about Stan more than anything. Without making the reader hate Wendy you've set a sense of sorrow for Kyle, but implied that he's been keeping the secret a while and not even daring to drop hints.

I'm so bloody envious of your writing talents. If you ever have doubts about yourself, this should be enough to make you see how talented you are.

To fit that much emotion and hard hitting facts and painful things the characters have to live with in NINE LINES.. it's plain to see you have talent.
